Augustines Lose A “We Are” And Go Walkabout

The band may have lost a “We Are” from their title since they last graced our shores with their euphoric live shows, but rest assured nothing else has changed. As you can hear from the album sampler below Billy McCarthy still has a rasp that snakes inside your eardrums and burrows its way down to your heart.

Augustines release their Peter Katis (The National, Frightened Rabbit, Interpol, Jonsi) co produced self titled new album in the UK on the 3rd of February and head out on a much anticipated tour in support of it throughout April and May. Returning to the scene of their triumphant gig at the end of 2012 Augustines play the Arches in Glasgow on the 11th of April. Come one come all, I guarantee you will not leave its vaulted ceilings disappointed.
