Revisiting the Oscars latest episode takes us to the early 80s to take in 1981, introducing us to Indiana Jones, the Russian Revolution and the Olympic Games. We’ve had a slight hiatus on account of one of the team getting hitched, summer football and a return to socialising in the UK, but we’re glad to be back with you all!

We’re back to Middle Earth on the latest episode of Revisiting the Oscars as we head into 2002, so expect lots of chat about those bloody talking trees, the greatness of the battle of Helms Deep and who can do the best Gollum impression?

It’s not just ‘Lord of the Rings‘ time though as we’ve 4 more big movies to discuss including holocaust drama ‘The Pianist‘, the Virginia Woolf multi-verse film ‘The Hours‘, Scorsese’s epic tale of life in early New York (‘Gangs of New York‘) and the all conquering musical ‘Chicago‘, and there’s plenty of Corrie spots for fans of the legendary UK soap opera!

2002 Best Picture Nominees
