Revisiting the Oscars latest episode takes us to the early 80s to take in 1981, introducing us to Indiana Jones, the Russian Revolution and the Olympic Games. We’ve had a slight hiatus on account of one of the team getting hitched, summer football and a return to socialising in the UK, but we’re glad to be back with you all!
In this episode we’ll meet Harrison Ford’s swashbuckling action hero in ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark‘, find out about the origins of communist Russia in ‘Reds‘, and meet a couple of holidaying pensioners in ‘On Golden Pond‘. Mason was also disappointed to discover ‘Atlantic City‘ wasn’t the Springsteen song on a loop and we discuss the merits of this year’s winner and its iconic Vangelis score in ‘Chariots of Fire‘!
