We’re into the 2000s now as we continue our journey across the last 50 years of film history, reviewing the films nominated for ‘Best Picture’ across one year per episode.

In Episode 4 of ‘Revisiting the Oscars‘ we’re covering 2005, the infamous year when ‘Crash‘ surprised just about everybody to take the top accolade ahead of films including ‘Brokeback Mountain‘ and ‘Munich‘.

We’ll look back on this films, as well as looking at what else was making an impact in 2005, from Harry Potter to King Kong to Truman Capote!
