Doune The Rabbit Hole – Preview 24-26/08/12

Are you fed up of large corporate soulless festivals like T in the Park?  Do you want  to experience a small boutique festival with a great atmosphere, a social conscience  and a line-up that celebrates all things Scottish? Then the quaint charm of “Doune The Rabbit Hole” could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Moving to its new home for the 2012 festival over the weekend of the 24th to 26th of August “Doune The Rabbit Hole” will be held at the newly reconstructed replica of Duncarron Fort in the scenic Carron Valley.

This year for the damn reasonable sum of only £88 of your Scottish pounds you’ll receive a full weekend camping ticket, and If you only fancy going for the day then day tickets are also available for £30.

This years DTRH Line-Up is by far its strongest to date, over the three days you can gorge your Scottish musical appetite on sets from among others “The Phantom Band”, Scottish album of the year award winners “Bill Wells and Aidan Moffat”, Behold, The Old Bear”, Kenny “King Creosote” Anderson, Dan “Withered Hand” Willson, “Sparrow & The Workshop”, “Holy Mountain”, “Miaoux, Miaoux”, “Kid Canaveral”, “Malcolm Middleton (HDBA)”. “Three Blind Wolves”, “Second Hand Marching Band” and “Olympic Swimmers”, Phhhhhhhhhhewwww

Not to mention the ninja comic book making, zombie/mosquito mass murdering skills of the extremely talented American troubadour “Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard”…………

If you fancy following Alice and me “Doune The Rabbit Hole” you can purchase tickets of all varieties here –

Ps. There are also some fancy Yurt packages available for all you pampered Glampers out there….. (Since publishing I have just been reliably informed these Yurts are now all sold out, sorry Glampers, who needs carpets and the like anyway)
